About EEG
IMDA released the Green Data Centre (DC) Roadmap in May 2024 to drive sustainable growth in Singapore’s DC sector while supporting the expansion of the digital economy. In collaboration with the industry, IMDA aims to enhance DC energy efficiency at both hardware and software levels and assist DC end-users in adopting energy-efficient IT infrastructure.
DC end-users can now access the Energy Efficiency Grant (EEG) for the DC sector to adopt pre-approved energy-efficient IT equipment.
- Support Cap per Company: $30,000
- Support Rate until 31 March 2026:
- Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs): Up to 70% of equipment costs
- Non-SMEs: Up to 30% of equipment costs
- Supported Equipment: Refer to GoBusiness for the list of pre-approved equipment for the DC sector. The equipment purchased must be used within a commercial DC in Singapore.

Criteria for Grant
Who can apply
Businesses registered and operating in Singapore, with at least one local employee and a group annual sales turnover not exceeding $500 million, are eligible for the grant.
How to apply
Applications can be submitted through the Business Grants Portal (BGP).
